Project “Medz Yeghern” is a song about the Armenian Genocide. The song is written and performed by SERAIAH, because of his big heart for the Armenian community. SERAIAH, who is himself a non-Armenian, got moved by the genocide of 1915 and the atrocities against the Armenians of Artsakh. SERAIAH wanted to translate these feelings into a song, that’s when he began with the music project Medz Yeghern, which is Armenian for the Great Evil. In a powerful message, SERAIAH painfully describes the horrors of what Armenians endured this past century, but also beautifully highlights the hope in Christ, emphasizing that Christ has the final say and has not abondened the Armenians during all of this. This song provides apologetic answers and its message impacted hundreds of thousands Armenians worldwide. Many Armenians complimented SERAIAH for this outstanding project and the deep and powerful rap lyrics. Some felt it so deep, that they thought only an Armenian could have written these rap lyrics.  SERAIAH was accompanied by the great Armenian artist Manja Matevosian who beautifully performed her chorus on the song. The chorus in Armenian is emotional and heartfelt by Armenians and non-Armenians. The videoshoot was done in Armenia, performed in one of the biggest studio’s and filmed by one of the best video producers of Armenia: Arthur Manukyan.
